Our very own Dr. Nanni Baker had the honor of speaking at this years Texas Health Steps MEDI-VENGER Conference on September 28, 2018. As one of the industries "mightiest heroes", Dr. Baker spoke on the importance of System Oral Health in the dental field.
Dr. Baker's service to our children, impacts our community's public health by not only working to treat problems, but focusing on education and prevention. Poor oral hygiene can lead to so many problems with diabetes, heart disease and other health issues. By scheduling regular visits, brushing, flossing, and watching what you eat, you are taking steps in preventing dental diseases and keeping you in good health.
Texas Health Steps works to improve the health and well- being of children from birth through age 20. Comprehensive medical/dental checkups and preventive services place the children of Texas on a path to living a healthy lifestyle. This conference was a wonderful opportunity for Texas Health Steps providers, administrative/office staff, managers, and administrators to receive policy updates, learn techniques to integrate into their preventive healthcare practices to improve the health of Texas children. We are pleased be one of El Paso's MEDI-VENGERS fighting for the health, happiness and well-being of our youth.
